A U.S. State Department Performance
The Bryn Mawr String Ensemble and Handbell and Women's Choir perform at the State Department in Washington, D.C. for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's unaccompanied minor holiday party. The focus of the yearly party is to provide gifts and comfort for minors whose parents are unable to travel home during the holidays due to their commitments to foreign service. It was a joy to entertain these children and their guests, At the party, families were able to take secure calls from their loved ones and some parents were brought home from service especially for the event!
